Classic Four-Day Spicers Private Walk

$1,800 per person. The package includes:

• Departs Monday each week during the walking season (March - November 2010 and 2011)
• Four days of guided walks along the private Spicers private walking track
• Three nights accommodation at Spicers Canopy and the lodge, all meals and drinks, including a degustation dinner at Spicers Peak Lodge
• Personal light backpack and wet weather coat
• Return private coach from and to Brisbane.

Day 1.
Collect either at a nominated Brisbane location by private coach or drive your car to Spicers Hidden Vale,Grandchester. Pack your gear at the Retreat, meet the other walkers and guides over a country breakfast.

Leave Hidden Vale and drive by private coach below the Scenic Rim to ‘Governors Chair’ in the Main Range National Park near Cunningham's Gap where your walk begins. This coach trip takes approximately one hour. The walk passes through the pass where historic Spicers Gap Road was built in the 1850s and within two hours you are on Spicers Peak Station.

Follow Millarvale Creek along Spicers Private Walking Track in Spicers Peak Nature Refuge and lunch on a spectacular waterhole. Stay overnight at our specially designed Spicers Canopy.

Day 2
After breakfast enjoy a walk on Spicers Peak Cattle Station property and explore deep creek canyons and water holes before returning to Spicers Canopy in the late afternoon.

Day 3
Walk to the Lodge on Spicers Private Walking Track through Australian open eucalypt forest and along scenic ridges to a spectacular plateau. A gastronomic experience awaits including a seven course degustation dinner menu and overnight accommodation at Spicers Peak Lodge.

Day 4
After a late sumptuous breakfast and short walks near the Spicers Peak Lodge, embark on return coach tour of the eastern Scenic Rim to Spicers Hidden Vale and Brisbane.
